Covid-19 Effect on Repairs

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone has any experience using the repair service recently during this pandemic? It shows under my region 'may be delayed' (uk) and I'm just looking to see if anyone has successfully sent for a repair and recieved their item/replacement
back? I have an Elite Controller Series 2 which is faulty after four months of use and wondering if its worth my while sending it back or trying to get it repaired locally?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have questions on a repair. The repair services are still open and have seen multiple threads on people got their repair back. If it is saying delayed, the normal repair time is 14-21 days, it could
be little longer than that. In my opinion always good to get a repair done if it is needed.

Hey Brad! Thanks for the reply and the advice. I'll go with the official repair service then. I dont mind waiting, totally understandable with the current crisis and would always rather go through Microsoft.

Yeah, its going to be a crazy world to live in for the foreseeable! As long as we, our families and friends all stay safe and healthy though thats all that matters.

But at least we have the Series X to look forward to end of this year! The next console genuinely couldn't have dropped at a better time!

I already had problems with my console and he had to go to analyze the warranty, at the time it didn't take long, because a week ago I was back with him, unfortunately with the pandemic, this type of
service has many delays.

To be honest i think there are issues big and small with most things with this virus lets hope things improve as we get to grips with a new normal
