cover arts won't load only the xbox live cover is showed up

i noticed this happening to 3 of my games today out of no where. my affected games are GTA5, Dishonored, and Lego batman 3. the first 2 games are downloaded full games, the batman game is a disc installed game. the first 2 games i haven't played in a
while the batman game i played last week. not sure where this is coming from i haven't had any xbox updates recently that i know of. really just a visual thing the games seem to work fine it is just annoying to see that xbox live logo instead of their usual
cover art.

i'd also like to add that the first two games had an update which i updated but didn't do anything for the cover art missing or whatever the issue is.

 

I just started having this problem today. I downloaded the demo for Beautiful Katamari and the art for it was the Xbox Live art. Didn't think anything of it, until I browsed through my games, and discovered that many of their cover arts were replaced with
the aforementioned art. The same thing happened to my apps. And yes, I know that its merely a cosmetic thing, but it still drives me nuts. I really hope that Microsoft fixes this soon.

 

Since today many more cover arts (20) won't load. Before today not more than 5 cover arts won't load.

Happened to me today. All my games except three are shown as "Xbox Live"

GTA 5 shows the gray download icon though.

The games I still see are LA Noire and Saints Row the Third.

 

Why are these images not stored locally? For me, DESTINY, DIABLO III: RoS, HBO Go, and ALIEN: ISOLATION all show generic Xbox Live white-and-green images. Clearing the cache is obviously not the problem, nor does my connection to Xbox Live being active
have any incidence on this, either; even offline, all of the proper logos for everything I've ever downloaded since 2007 appears as it should.

Looks like I'm just a recent victim of a long-standing problem.

Pro Tip: Code this stuff so that it stores locally. =)

 

67 out of 117 of my game icons now show the generic Xbox Live image. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for which games were effected. Hope M$ fixes this. Doubt they will.

Have cleared the cache 6 times, deleted & re-downloaded games, nothing. Gotta say this makes finding a specific game a bit more difficult. Any news Mucrosoft Ambassador's?

Clearing cache (3 times, 6 times etc) has NEVER solved any 360 problems Ive encountered since I bought an original 360.

 

Clear your cache on all of your storage devices. Cache is just that. Cache. It's recreated every time you do something. If nothing changes, then it'll get recreated the same way. However, they have attempted to fix the problem. It's fixed on my end, but
only after clearing the cache on all of my storage devices and hard rebooting my console.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the new backwards compatibility on xbox one. like in order for them to show up in the xbox one emulator they are rewriting the box art to show correctly and its bugging the xbox 360? Just an idea. I had problems
with it right around when it was launched. Coincidence? maybe. Doesn't exactly bother me that much but I hope a fix comes soon.

 

I recommend posting in the topic I linked guys. If we have a central topic that the team can pay attention to, it'll get fixed faster.

 

As of yesterday everything was fixed. no missing box art etc. at least for me.

 

I recently started experiencing this problem. Even the cover art for games I don't own won't show up in marketplace. Hope this gets fixed in the next update.

 

Same issue here. I even removed the game and redownloaded it. No solution
