Clearing the cache is always the first suggestion and it causes other problems. Every game you downloaded an update for needs to be re-downloaded after clearing the cache. That can be very annoying when you have hundreds of games. Every time someone suggests
clearing the cache I try it and it does nothing to fix the issue whatever it may be.

I too have the missing icons. I don't understand why the XBox team does not make it so you cache the images locally on your XBox instead of forcing you to download the images every time you connect to XBox Live. Hell even Nintendo does not have this problem
on the Wii U and we all know how backwards that interface can be. I wish Microsoft would actually listen to it's user base when they have legutmate concerns and come up with a long term solution to problems like the disappearing icons which seems to happen
a lot.

 

I clear the cache like xHIGHLANDER93x says. YouTube is back. But every arcade games have grey pad on cover. This is worst then xbox live cover.

 

I agree. The grey background with a game pad is like seeing broken links to images on web pages. Makes the whole system look broken. It is very disappointing.

 

I notice on here my profile pic on posts is showing the games without icons which proves to me that this is an XBox Live issue and not anything to do with my XBox 360 configuration. I loaded up a bunch of the games with no icon to emphasize this. Hopefully
someone will look into this issue soon.

 

The fix i was talking about was for the xbox live cover art problem witch works almost every time. This is not for the gray joypad problem witch has been around forever it comes and goes.

 

I too am having problems with the cover art for many of my games after an update. I tried clearing the cache and even re-downloading my profile, but it didn't work.

Could Microsoft just please make the cover art downloadable to the Hard Drive please, this issue seems to be happening to a lot of people after the System updates. It would also be benificial to me to see digital games that I own, but do not have installed.

Please vote for that or create a similar suggestion. The only way this is going to get fixed is if enough people agree this is a problem. I think the reason this problem "only appears to effect a small number of users" is that most XBox 360 users probably
only have a few downloaded games installed and they most likely will not notice any issue since the games they own are not displaying the issue. Microsoft needs to understand that people who have purchased over 100+ games are going to see this problem and
they might want to cater to the minority that has been purchasing most of the content available on the system.

 

Guys, I think this isn't related, but it's an indicator on how their Marketplace is messed up. I think you should look at your account region. This must be the issue that some of you can see the pics while other can't. I suggest that because we have this
extremely annoying issue here in Greece. When you go to Xbox.com, and go for the Achievements section, the Xbox One Games have thumbnails on them, but 360 games do not. They have some random image. Take a look:
Imgur: The magic of the Internet . The same is for other countries, like Ceska Republika! And it's simple to see, just go to your achievements section on Xbox.com and from the down left corner change the site's
region to another country, you'll see random games (or NO games at all in the two mentioned regions and I don't know how many others) do not appear. I think their servers are in a mess, and they don't have any luck resolving this! I've mentioned this problem
here, three or four times and two times in my local support but they ignored me! Well, it seems it's getting worse.

Thanks for actively discussing and updating us on the cover art issue you're experiencing. Our teams are aware of this issue and working to clear this up. While we continue to work on this, please try the following steps:

• Move profile to an external storage device and delete profile from your Xbox 360 console (this will provide you with a backup in case you are unable to redownload profile).
  
• Clear cache 3 times (How to clear the cache on Xbox 360).
  
• Redownload your profile (How to download your Xbox Live profile to a different Xbox 360 console or redownload
  it).
• Check your Xbox 360 games under 'My Games' for any missing cover art.

Please let us know if those steps do or do not work while we continue to look into this. Cheers!

Clearing cache and redownload profile not solve the issue

 

@Mister Maka why are you guiding us to do things on our Xboxes when it's clear by the post I made that there is an issue server side. I can't realize why we are doing this. Anyway, tried it an didn't solve any issue! It can't be our console's/profile's fault
when even the website doesn't load covers.
