    Just finished a chat with a Microsoft Colleague, with heavy reference to this thread.

    Basically the matter is being passed forward to the "Higher Support" team, which will hopefully bring about a fix for us all.

    I think it's important to say that this unsolicited hate towards Microsoft as a company won't help and may even hinder us in our attempts to get a solution; if we have to link support teams to a thread full of verbal abuse they're unlikely to take it, us,
    or the problem seriously.

    It is a problem, though, and since both Microsoft and Lionhead now know it's a problem, I reckon we'll get some traction.

    I'm sorry, but little to no contact, when you take someone's money is inexcusable, no matter the person, company or organisation. That being said, i have no "hate" towards anyone on this situation, but if you don't rustle some feathers, nothing gets done.
    I can cite my chats with support as evidence. I am unhappy. That's been said and will not be repeated again. At least on this forum.

    Once it's fixed, i'll be perfectly content.

    I will add my 2 cents to this thread in hopes that more voices and more information will get results.

    I purchased the Fable Trilogy game package from the XBox 360 game store several weeks back. Since that time, I have been unable to download the games. The trilogy installer downloads and runs. But when I select "Download Content" from the menu, I get
    an error dialog:

    "The active user has not purchased this bundle. Press 'A' to purchase now or 'B' to Cancel."

    If I press 'A' I am taken to a second error dialog:

    "There are no items available for purchase at this time."

    I click A again and the dialog is dismissed. If I select "Download Content" a second time, I am taken to a new "Xbox Stores" dialog. This dialog lists the three games (Fable Anniversary, Fablle III and Fable II) with "Free" beside each. I have 256.03
    GB free on the Xbox and the requires space is 16.84 GB. If I click Confirm Purchase, I get the following error dialog:

    "Sorry, there's a problem buying or downloading this info. Try this: clear the cache in Settings, Storage, and cancel any current downloads. Then try again. Find more info by looking up status code 80153003 at
    www.xbox.com/errorhelp."


    If I click "Ok", and then go to my Active Downloads, I see all three of the games queued up to download. However, when Fable Anniversary gets to 80% (after about an hour and a half), it immediately starts over at 0%. I have tried to download this game
    dozens of times, and have contacted Xbox support on multiple occasions. Every time, I am told to try various strategies (clearing cache, opening router ports, etc), but nothing has helped. Most recently I was told to delete anything from the machine that
    has anything to do with Fable including any previous saves. I had a saved game from Fable 3 (on disk that I borrowed from a friend), so I even deleted my saved games. I have verified my region settings (I'm in the US), and have cleared the cache, and have
    opened ports though the router to the Xbox. Nothing is working.

    The above post perfectly and clearly states my problem as well. I like to add that this occurs on all three games. Also, once i was able to download Fable 3, and when i went to the games list, its icon would appear and then dissapear very quickly. That only
    occurred once though.

    I called the same day I ordered it and was told they are aware of the issue and refunded me right away. The never had me do any troubleshooting.

    They said to call them butt I cans decipher that number it may be a lie but see if u guys have any

    The number is a UK number however i have been in contact with lionhead via there forums and they are on to Microsoft about it.

    Whats going on is they haven't let there entire support team know about the issue i believe only those who have had the issue reported to them know about it. And they still believe the same old fixes are going to work. they should suspend sales of the trilogy
    until the issue is sorted

  9. hey guys. I ended up getting a refund after about a half hour of talking to support. now, i'm a bit confused. Does this refund go into my bank account (I paid with my visa debit), or my xbox account? I thought it was gonna go to my xbox account, but I don't
    have anything still and it's been well over a week now and I don't know if it's been refunded to my bank account or not. Is there any way to check this?

    Refund can take up to 30 days to be processed by your bank.

    Normally takes 3 days from xbox to the bank, than its up to your bank and out of Microsoft hands

    I bought this game days ago, nothing but problems, keeps telling me to clear my cache which I have, then tells me I haven't purchased it, which I did, then tells me nothing to purchase. Finally after 40 mins i get them in my active downloads, then at 80%
    they reset and start downloading all over again, left my Xbox on over night just in case.... nope still restarting he download at 80%. Contacted support just for them to tell me to do all the stuff I have already done, then at the end tell me they will have
    a support team contact me in a few days.

    What crappy customer service Microsoft has, selling a game that don't work, then blowing people off and refusing to give refunds, last year I sent almost all year calling MS because they would lock my account everytime I bought a game or DLC and Id have
    to wait 5 days for them to unlock it.

    This is the last time tho, I have been a gold member for years, but after this dumb crap they wont even fix, I'm dropping my microsoft sub and going over to playstation.

    Finally received a response from the "advocacy team". they had no clue of this problem and had me run through all the basic fixes once again. I've sent a response and await theirs. Hopefully they'll stop wasting everyone's time, like they did mine.
