counterfit in game cash

when you get the money you can buy everything, rockstar wont take the things you bought, but they will take the money and reset you to around 550,000. my wife was reset to 250,000 so it could be based on your level also, because she was a level 25

 

I got given 7 billion when initially i had about 13 million, but the game took it all away including MY money -_-

 

when the mod money was being given out by modders, I supped up a bunch of cars and gave them to people to sell to get money off it. all of them that did not get mod money, still have the money that I basically gave them. which was around 3 to 10 million

Technically, yes it is. It was money that was given to you through illegitimate means (modding, hacking, in-game variable manipulation). This money was not earned like the money given to you through mission payouts and was given to you for practically nothing.

Your friend may view it as cheating but it more or less comes down to a moral decision...Do YOU think that you are cheating by using money that was illegitimately gifted to you? Do you feel it is wrong to accept money that was given to you for virtually
nothing? Do you feel it is acceptable to accept money that you did not earn through mission payouts?

 

I don't know, but when I got that money, I didn't once think about any of that. I immediately went to my phone and bough EVERYTHING Pegasus can give me, every car I wanted, fully tuned them all, bought an apartment with a 10 car garage since I only had a
10 car garage, got more into the game till I reached level 100 and bought everything there, eventually reached 120 and was still rich. didn't even care how I got the money at that time. didn't start caring till the game started getting boring. didn't need
money so I didn't need to rob trucks, or do missions, (but I still did missions, had to have some kind of fun with this 60 dollar sore in my wallet)

@Darth, I thought about it before I fixed all those cars, all I had to to was not buy the tracker and they were able to sell it. the thing I came to the conclusion on, which I was just assuming for a while is, rockstar doesn't really monitor who fixed up
a car that another person sold. but then they stopped that from even being possible lol

Honestly...that was me too, lol. Buying everything could be viewed as a strategic move, and I knew this money would be gone one day so might as well do the smart thing and purchase everything; that way, when the money finally is taken away, I'll (you) will
have everything and not need to purchase it/them.

The only thing I'm glad about is that "nerfing" the modded money meant players would have to do something other than killing other players. Like you said "the game started getting boring". Of course it got boring because players bought everything and had
no reason to earn money. What's left? Kill other players! Thank goodness that's less than it was now. True; there are still players who kill others but that IS GTA for the most part. However, there are other things to do now besides just killing other players
(unlike GTA: IV MP).

I tried to help my friend who has in-game money problems by doing exactly what you described above, Zone. However, R* fixed it (probably because they want everyone to get poor so when heists finally come out, we'll not just want them; we'll be craving them
as a great new method for earning money (because Rooftop Rumble will probably be "tweaked" once again"))

 

I received over 2 million and never spent a penny. I put all the money on my second characters hand so I didnt have it in my bank. Rockstar still stole my 600,000 earned. Face Palm on Rockstar for that one. They left me with 60 dollars.

 

you should have spent that money. I knew when I got that money that it didn't matter if I was innocent or not, that's why I spent it as soon as I got it. that's how big companies are, heartless

 

I meant to say 2 hundred million. I wasnt interested. I want to earn my things. Rockstar has set a road for us and free cash was never meant to be a pit stop. A sense of accomplishment comes from earning the money and buying something. I never wanted to
be handed anything. The free cash was a game killer. I saw so many players who received cash and bought everything that they wanted then within 1 week they had no interest in the game anymore. No will or drive to continue. They considered it no point. I refuse
to let someone nerd boy give me cash and ruin my experience called GTAO.

 

You are entitled to your opinion, BAD, but there seems to be a vicious pattern here. If anyone is keeping track, R* recently hotfixed a "dead hooker glitch" and within a few minutes, the "cheaters/glitchers" found a bypass. This not only proves that players
do NOT want to work for their money, but if it is as easy as that, players will bypass doing it the legitimate way for quick, easy money.

IMPO however, it is R*'s fault for casting a negative image on its community. The main reason why players do this is because of the cash nerf to payouts and I do agree. Why do I only get %30 of my money from this mission every time I play it when I got $30000
on the first playthrough? By them (R*) nerfing cash payouts, it has just split the community up into those who will grind the most0-paying missions and those who will resort to unscrupulous means of gaining money.

Again, R* should have expected this when they made the game revolve around "the almighty dollar". Did they really think that players were going to actually work for their money if methods arose that could grant them easy money? I laugh at them if this is
what they truly thought. Like their game, the world is full of greed and people are always looking for easy ways to earn money. Why else would we have thieves, con-artists, and scammers?

I could turn this into a 5-page essay on how these money glitches can be partially justified and how I believe it is mostly R*'s fault, but this is a forum, not an essay contest so I'll stop here.

 

When I started GTA 5 online over 900 billion was on my account, so I started to spend it buying fancy cars and living in eclipse towers, I was really enjoying the lifestyle until rockstar took away all my money and left me with 50,000 which I soon lost trying
to get my lifestyle back and it's hard as now I only have 14 GTA dollars.

Then I think its time to get back to work and make yourself the lifestyle that you want for your character. I did with no help from modded money. I can look at everything I own and smile at my accomplishments. You act as if since they took the money away
you have no option but to be broke. Money is no option for me anymore (all legit). Anything I want I can have right now. DLC has become a huge shopping spree like a kid in a candy store. Then time to grind my spent money back and do it all over again with
my crew and friends that I do so enjoy playing with so much.

 

I'm sorry but did I mention that times are tough now in GTA as rockstar have not yet introduced heists to GTA online, when your used to buying everything you want without no problems everything is great but when you don't have the money to buy stuf you want
it leads to you losing money to pay for the apartment you live in and to pay for your cars, the only way to get easy money is to buy it from shops or Xbox store so how do you recommend to get money another way then?

 

Legend epic 1, why do you need easy money handed to you in the first play? if you want to be one of those people who pay for there IN GAME MONEY, then be my guess, but if you want to PLAY, there are many ways to make money. and if you want to be rich, you
need to play like it was a job, find a mission your good at that pays well, and do it over and over till you have the amount of money you want. when those modders gave that money away, you need to understand that was not rockstar doing that. why would they
when they want you to buy there shark cards? and yes, in order to get the amount of money you want, it might take a long time, you may need to literally do rooftop rumble over 1,000 times to get what you want, but that's the way it is.
