Counter strike go not backwards compatible?

It says that I own counter strike go on xbox 360 it has the Xbox one cross compatibility logo in the 360 games section

try to download it on my Xbox one and it doesnt show up on my ready to install section when I go on the Xbox one market

it says show price I click on it and it says something about downloading it from Xbox.com and when I looked it wants to make me rebut it

i called tech support and they said there was an issue porting it to Xbox one and some people lost the cross compatibility licenses for the game

if they didn't download it rite away when it was available so is there going to be any chance of me ever being able to play it on Xbox one?

hi I'm here to report something on my game every time I play I first played the demo then after that during the first 15 minutes I could not play no more I could not pick up weapons or anythingcan anybody help me please I really do love this game

Counter-Strike: Go actually is backwards compatible on both Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. It isn’t currently included in the Backward Compatible Games Library on the Xbox website, but here is a more updated version of all the Xbox backwards compatible games (see page 3 for this specific game):

Note (from the website): This title may not be available in all regions and/or may not be available for purchase digitally in the Xbox Store. Previous owners of the disc/digital versions of these titles should still be able to play them on an Xbox One or Series X|S console.

Backwards compatibility wouldn’t necessarily affect the ability to purchase a game though and wouldn’t be the reason for this particular error anyway. Refer to this guide which confirms this and explains these errors in more detail:

The error message you receive indicates that you don’t have the correct account permissions to purchase games on the Xbox 360 store, and there’s unfortunately no possible workaround to these restrictions (even if you update your account settings).

If you’re on a child account (under 18, or under 19 in South Korea), you would need to complete the purchase from an Xbox 360 console, or purchasing the game on a physical disk is another option to consider.

If you are trying to download Counter-Strike: GO from your Xbox One console you will not be able to. If you are looking to purchase backwards compatible games, you must do so on either an Xbox 360 console or from Xbox.com.
