Countdown to The Golf Club...

What are you looking forward to first? Play the community and get used to the controls or just jump right into the course creater? I, myself have a good case of: "about 7 years of custom course lack thereof on an Xbox console settling for TW__ EA crap"
and it's only cure will be to finally make my own course!

Can't wait, really hope it's up sooner than later this week.

Morning all i have the 1st golf club game is there an upgrade to add The Golf Club Collector's Edition to it

or do you have to buy the full game. Is it worth buying The Golf Club Collector's Edition .Cheers Alan

 

Play a few official courses for inspiration then probably go nuts in the creator. Really looking forward to it.

 

Well, for starters, I usually like to learn how to play the game.

I do look forward to the course design, but I worry it might be too complicated in some areas which would make it harder to make a nice course.

That's assuming, of course, that I pick up the game.

 

The first thing I am looking forward to is a price drop. After I see one of those, the ability to create my own course filled with sand traps will be nice.

 

Does anybody know if this will be available midnight GMT? I can't wait!!

 

Indies games got "random" release hours,so really don't know....

I think the best is to get used to the controls,several years without playing any golf games,i might be a little bit rusty.

I am still up in the air with this game. But, if I do get it I will play courses first. Got to know how the game plays before you can create a good custome course.

 

Does this game have kinect support? I only get out on the course one or two times a year and enjoyed using the kinect in tiger woods.

 

Not sure Joe, is it out in the UK tomorrow too ?. I dont want too get excited ( leave work early and find it not out.

 

It will be available digitally in all regions that the One is in tomorrow Aug. 19th.

No Kinect support initially. Personally not a fan but others may be. I don't see the point of staring at the floor when playing a video game. Some may want the immersion though. HBS have said that support for Kinect may come at a later date.

The Golf Club has it's own forum now under Games T-Z.

Release is generally around 1-2 AM PDT so 9 or 10 AM GMT. There is already a place holder in the store for the game as I have a friend who has a review copy so it shows in my recent activity queue of friends games played. 1.86 Gb download. Achievements list
is also viewable. Doesn't turn up via search yet.

 

1.86 Gb....I expected something like 5-10 Gb....Cool.

 

1.86? I had a Peggle 2 update that was bigger than that. lol
