I was looking thru some games and i saw battlefield. 1 on sale. I try to buy it and it says we couldnt get authprization please congact payment provider

No, it didn't help, mine says "sorry, we couldnt get authorization for this. use a different or new way to pay, or check that your billing adress is correct. if you have anymore questions, your financial institution is the one to ask."

Cant get authorization

So my friend is part of the dashboard beta and he pays with currency so he signed into his Xbox with my account and got my account migrated so when I try to add points it turns into currency so I had 30 dollars and he was gonna buy me borderlands 2 season
pass and I had enough when he clicked confirmed purchase a message popped up saying. "Sorry we couldn't get authorization for this please use a new or different way to pay what happened and how do I fix this

Sounds like there may be a problem using the card that you are trying to use. Some providers will block some types of online purchases. Contact your card provider to see if this is the issue with your particular payment method.

Mistegwyther i called yesterday and they said the card i tried to pay off the outstanding balance was couldnt be authorized, what does that mean??please reply thanks!

Went to buy Bits (an ingame currency in Defiance) and a few movies, got a message saying it couldnt authorize my purchase. Called support, they couldnt find anything wrong with my account. Everything checked out: valid funds, no locks, etc. Spent close to
2 hours on the phone trying to figure it out. They sent my case to some higher ups and I was told Id get an email within 24-48 hrs but still have yet to receive one.
