Couldn't Download Xbox GameBar from Microsoft Store.

Hi there!

Error code 0x803F8001 means you are NOT signed into Xbox live account.

Although multiple issues have been reported of this today & am sure Xbox is working on a fix.

Update: Hundreds off reports of this & beleive xbox is aware of the issue. Please refer to their status page for more information.

Though, if it is not an Xbox issue here are some troubleshoot options:

- Make sure you're signed into a xbox live account with an active subscription.

- Make sure you're connected to a network.

A few other ways would be to restarting xbox & router, would try these as they attempt to fix this issue.

This issue has been happening for users all around Xbox within the last 24 hours, so patience is needed now.

We understand how you wanted to download FH5 from the Microsoft Store on your device. Let's and check to see what we can do best to help address our concern.

To better understand your concerns, I will be asking you few questions:

1. Is this the first time you install this game on your device?
   
2. Does the issue present to only this game?
   
3. Have you try installing another game to see if that works?
   
4. Can you provide the operating system of the device you are using to download the game?
   
5. I assume that the device is connected to a stable internet connection, right?
   

In the meantime, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps:

• Make sure that the account in the Microsoft Store app and Xbox app are logged in with the same account. In this case, the account that has the subscription.
  
• Clear the Microsoft Store cache. To do this, open the Microsoft Store app, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Downloads and updates." Then, click on "Get updates" and let it run. This should clear the cache and may resolve the issue.
  
• Check your internet connection. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection and that there are no issues with your network. You can try resetting your router or modem to see if that helps.
  
• If we are using windows, check for Windows updates. Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates."
  

If none of these steps work, we can try some more advanced troubleshooting:

• Reset the Microsoft Store app. To do this, log out the account on Microsoft Store app and on the Xbox app then, proceed to open the Settings app, click on "Apps," and find the Microsoft Store app. Click on it and select "Advanced options." Then, click on "Reset" and let it run.
  
• Try downloading FH5 from a different device. If you have another device that can access the Microsoft Store, try downloading FH5 from there to see if the issue is with your device specifically.
  
• Check your disk space. Make sure you have enough disk space on your device to download or install FH5.
  

Note: These steps involve system-level changes, so proceed with caution. Always ensure that you have a backup of your data before making such changes.

that will not work, the gamebar is ONLY updated via the windows store not windows update. he has the non updated version, no need to go and reset this and that, its simply a case of opening the windows store and selecting get updates, this will then download and update the gamebar to the latest version.
