"Couldn't Connect you to the service" Error Message when trying to download Minecraft...

Please make sure that you're signed in to the Microsoft Store with the same account you plan to use for the Minecraft Launcher. If you're already signed in, try signing out and back in.

And then update Windows. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your computer.

Next is to repair and then reset the Microsoft Store. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. Find the Microsoft Store in the list, click on it, and select "Advanced options."

Choose "Repair" first. If that doesn't work, try "Reset."

Then install via Xbox App by downloading and install ingthe Xbox app from the Microsoft Store. Open the Xbox app, sign in, and search for the Minecraft Launcher. Please install the launcher from there.

After that is to check time and region settings. Go to Settings > Time & Language. Make sure that the time, date, and region settings are correct and set to update automatically.

If you're using a VPN or proxy, disable it temporarily and download the launcher again.

Reinstall Gaming Services To do this, kindly open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following command:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

Then, reinstall Gaming Services by running:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Kindly ensure as well that you have enough free space on your drive for the installation.

It didn't work. I followed your steps but the game still doesn't recognise my new alias.

I got an error message at the bottom of the launcher saying "Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services."

I clicked "Try Again" and it didn't work.

Do you get any error or message when you try to connect on the xbox live service?

I only have 1 Microsoft account, when I try to log in with my Mojang account, it tells me to use my Microsoft account that I migrated to. Minecraft net shows my Minecraft player name correctly with my Microsoft account below. The website also tells me to download it because I already own it. After downloading it, the launcher tells me to buy it, that's the problem here. The new, recommended launcher also has a message on the bottom saying: ''Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to Minecraft services''. Clicking ''try again'' does nothing.

ya, i get this error message: "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again", but the fun is that the original dvd is in the tray!!!
