Could you find it in your heart to help me?

I'm in my 30's I take care of elderly family members. My grand mother who is in her 90's and my mother in her 70's. (She had me late in life and I'm her only child) My dad died a little over 10 years ago. I work a little here and there but most of my time
is spent taking care of them. (cooking meals, going to the grocery store, paying their bills etc) Money is really tight and I worry every day because I don't want to catch coronavirus since I'll give it to them and they are in the danger age. I don't have
many friends any more since we moved to the big city.

I use to be a hardcore gamer 15 years ago, I wish I could still in my off hours but I simply can't afford it. Money is really tight here. I find myself playing **** decade old browser games online while I look at you all and all the next gen games coming
out in envy. I don't ask for much but If I could get my hands on a used xbox one or start a go fund me page asking for donations from people who could scrape up some loose change I would be grateful.

I'm in a city where it's a hot spot for the pandemic. I can't do things like I use to. Like talk to people in the neighborhood to pass the time because I'm to afraid of catching something that could potentially kill my family. So I just am here at home.
I live in the US and it's pretty bad here.

What I'm saying is, if this thread goes positive and I don't get much hate for asking. If I posted a go fund me page in a few days would you donate so I could get enough to buy a used xbox one, maybe one or two used games and a small used tv set since my
family doesn't have a tv?

as money is tight I recommend going to https://account.microsoft.com/rewards/ and make a start earning reward points.

these can be saved up for MS/Xbox gift cards or Live Gold/Game Pass.

there are also sweepstakes which have Xboxes as prizes.

I'm sorry to hear you're not able to create a new gamertag for your Microsoft account.
May I know which platform are you using to do this?
And, may I know what procedures you tried to fix this?

Basically what those links are going to say is this.

If you are looking it up on the computer look at your different email accounts and see if there is any emails from MS.

If your account is on an Xbox one console and you can sign into it you can go to the settings screen and the account tab and go to sign in security and passkey.

If your account is on the 360 you can go to settings then your information and select account security this will show you your email associated with your account.

If you have access to none of these then you would need to contact xbox support and give them the gamertag and if they can verify the ownership of the account they would then be able to give you the email address associated with the account.

The way that they would verify ownership is they would hit a button on their screen that would send an email/text message to ANY email or phone number on the account with a code once you give that code to them they will then type it in and have access to
the account information. Until the correct code is entered it does not show any information on the account it is just a button they click on and the system itself sends the code out they do not even see what the code is that is sent out.
