Could we get an update to the Xbox app so the buttons on the bottom actually work? Mine are...

This was a problem, for a little while now.

I managed to get mine working by following this process.

First Click the windows Start button>Settings(The little Cog Icon)>Apps>Apps & Features>Scroll to the bottom of the apps list and click on "Xbox">Click Advanced Options>Then scroll down again until you find the "Reset"
button and reset the app.

Actually, mine works now - the Xbox (Beta) and Gaming Services apps had updates. You can open the Microsoft Store app and select "Downloads and updates" from the menu on the top right to check for that.

I solved this problem. I installed clean Windows 11 and I didn't get any buttons in the Xbox app.

What I did

1. Went to the Microsoft store

2. Bottom left there is a button "Library", click it.

3. At the top right there will be a blue button "Check for updates" - click it.

4. We are waiting for everything to download and install. Sometimes it may seem that everything is frozen, but it is not. Wait.

5. Just in case, I rebooted the PC.

Everything has worked!!!

Well ive managed to fix it myself without any help from windows or xbox support as neither of you could figure out this problem. it seems to be a bug between windows updates and the windows 10 store so in order to fix this i had to go into Network & Internet
> Proxy > at the bottom click internet options > Advanced tab > reset internet explorer settings and the moment ive done this the xbox app works perfectly fine. Very disappointing that actual actual paid support workers could not figure this problem out!

We are having the same problem after a windows update today (2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)). Games on the Xbox app from gamepass are missing. If we attempt to play Minecraft launcher, it gives an install button instead of a play button. If we try to install, we get an error that says "gaming services required" if we click to download gaming services required, a green bar appears on the bottom of the app saying that gaming services is installing and it may take a few minutes. Then we get a notification that gaming services is installed, but nothing changes. The green bar stays there, there is a yellow triangle exclamation saying gaming services required, the games do not reappear and the install button starts the same process over again. Solution #5 did remove the app, it seemed to download again from the store, but nothing changed, we still get the same errors.
