Could somebody have hijacked my child's Minecraft account on Xbox Live?

I'd rather not give too many details here, except to tell you that some serious foul play may be going on. The Microsoft Virtual Assistant is not helpful.

Blocking other users didn't make a difference in avoiding one very peculiar online abuser who seems to be able to add herself/himself as a friend to my child's account without any apparent difficulty. (This was *not* the only bad thing that happened.) We changed
the password, and yet, more bad things of various sorts still happened afterwards. Then we changed the password again. We went as far as purchasing a 2nd account, with the intention of abandoning the old one. Maybe that plan will work. This is not normal,
though.

Could someone please contact me privately and help me find out what's really happening with this account?

When you go to the support website, below the virtual agent, you will see a clickable "see other options" pick a topic, then you will see a link "show contact options" click it and request a callback.

This is one of the reasons behind my very high concern.

Usually, friends are "mutual", which means one can request to be a friend, and only if your kid allows that person in their friend list, they become friends.

You as a parent can have your child's account added to your adult account via
https://account.microsoft.com/family and set your child's account up so you will have to approve friend requests as a parent.

I have got the same issue. My child cannot sign in and play Overwatch on his account, even though I have an xbox live subscription on the Xbox One. The only way I can get into the game is to sign in as myself (the parent account) and start the game. One
in the game then I press "X" to change profile. And then changing to my childs account sends me back to the Overwatch entry screen. But this time it lets him play.

Can somebody help, this is a real pain as I need to be there to sign in if my child wants to play this game.
