Could powerstate be source of issues

Hello all. I'm a brand new Xbox One Owner. I've already run into some issues with the OS locking up, as lot of it seem to stem from switching back and forth from twitch broadcasts to games or other apps. A few of my lockups centered around twitch, however
I believe it's a posibility my system may have been stuck trying between installing/updating a game at the same time. During my investigation, I noticed that the hard drive seemed to be thrashing, especially with the console powered off in the (always on power
state). Anyone with a PC background knows what hd trashing is. I would notice the thrashing continued while playing other games, especially during cut scenes. . I attributed this to a OS lock up between multitasking Apps/Games, and somehow still being stuck
when powered off in the "Always on Power state" by excessive accessing of the hard disk. Almost like a program freeze/lock up. The best solution for me was to change the power state to full shut down, after a proper 10 sec powercyle recommend by tech support
on this forum. It is suggested it takes 45 seconds to boot up, (however don't believe that is true) and I lose the ability to wake the box using voice commands, but for now it seems to offer a better stable system. What are you experience with changing the
power state?

if this helps.... i tried connecting my Xbox to my laptop using Ethernet cable and it worked fine, no issues! could the source of the problem be the Xbox adapter?

High/Low powerstate? Likely if it is a pre-fab computer the pc only has an HDMI in, not out. That would make solid sense, and it is quite common. This does explain all situations.
