    Hi. I was guided to voice my concerns here for the problem I'm having by a Xbox website support agent, which is that I cannot redeem one of the free games I received with my Xbox Live Gold subscription. The game is Midway Arcade Origins. Normally I'm able to redeem all 4 games that I receive. This is the first time that this has ever happened since I've been subscribed to the service.

    I wish that the team at Xbox would do more research before giving out the free games, to make sure it is available in each country, and if it isn't available in some countries, either contact the developers to see if they would make it available and if they wouldn't make it available, then give those countries a different game.

    The Irish Xbox website says it's one of the games we received in Ireland and so does my console, but when I go to redeem it, I'm given the message that it isn't available in my country. I don't know why the developers chose to make it unavailable in Ireland because to my understanding it is available in most other countries.

    I hope that you can compensate Ireland with an extra game either this month or next month because we only received 3 games this month and not the 4 that we paid for !

    Hi,

    Games are usually delisted when either the digital rights expire or the company that published the game goes bust. Gauntlet Xbox 360 arcade was delisted because Midway games filed for bankruptcy in 2010.

    However, Gauntlet and selection of other classic Midway arcade games is available on Midway Arcade Origins. These are ports of the arcade originals though. This collection is compatible with the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles.

    It's unlikely as Midway who owned the licences originally no longer exists.

    The Arcade versions of Rush the the Rock and San-Fransico Rush were released on the original Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube in the early 2000's.

    Either that or you could attempt to emulate the arcade or N64 versions on a PC.

    There seems to be an error for a lot of people. This has happened before and will usually get fixed after a few days. Just keep checking back occasionally.

    PS: I'm assuming that it's not free to download, rather than not available at all.
