    I coudn't able to reinstall purchased game. showing unexpected error happened while downloading and the error code is 0x0000001.

    what's the point of purchase then? spending so much of time to reach you people.

    If you want i'll buy it again, but the stupid OS is showing... "you owned the game" but it doesn't allow me to install.

    These steps can help you, give it a try.

    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.

    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

    4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

    5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

    How to download an game extension (in-game purchase)

    It's the Xbox App but if you're on Microsoft Store App you can simply go to "Library" and click on "Games"

    Or you can search Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Lords of the West and once you're on the said page click on Age of Empires II: Deluxe Definitive Edition Bundle, scroll down and you should see "In this bundle", click on it and install.

    I'm also having this same error code, except for the latest update to Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition.

    Steam never has these issues. This is ridiculous.

    Tried restarting my computer, twice. No effect on the solution. Now trying uninstalling and re-installing.

    I'm using the Xbox Game Pass.
