Could not find applicable device to install Minecraft Master Collection

First, try installing Minecraft Launcher on Microsoft Store and ensure you are signed in to the account you purchased the Minecraft for Windows Master Collection. This version could be available on the Launcher.

Otherwise, you may want to download the available version of Minecraft that matches your current device. Please check this link and install Minecraft - Download Minecraft & Server Software | Minecraft.

In any case, the versions of Minecraft did not match to Minecraft for Windows Master Collection please let us know by replying here so we can check further about this concern.

Hi,

I've installed the Master Chief Collection using my Game Pass PC application and I get the same message.

I tried:

- uninstall and install again: It doesn't solve the problem

- Delete the content of "%AppData%\LocalLow\MCC" (Including a reinstall again) : It doesn't solve the problem

- Run the Master Chief Collection Message from the Main Application Launcher and avoid use GamePass: The problem continues been reported

- Install from Microsoft Store (it download the content) : But the problem is not solved

How I could solve this problem? (Other gamepass games are running ok using this gamepass service). Situations as this case are doing that I consider keep the paid of this service honestly...)

It's a part of the Master Chief Collection, as an add-on, so you'll need to install the Master Chief Collection and access it from there. It's not a stand-alone title.

Did you install via the Windows 10 Store or Steam or for Xbox?

Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
One to be able to download the game.

Thanks for coming to the forums. The reason there is no option to install. There are only the

starter collection and master collection for sale. A lot of different games are doing this now, where the base game is not able to be purchased on its own.
