Could disk Xbox 360 games ever get a digital lisense on your account?

Hi there, I have a load of original Xbox 360 games on disk and I'm wondering if it would ever be possible to turn that disk version into a digital version on your account?

There is a system on Steam whereby you can enter an old PC games disk activation code on Steam and it creates a digital version of the disk game in your Steam library.

Obviously Xbox disk games don't have an activation code, I imagine that it's embedded onto the disk. But do you think there would be any way to implement a simular feature in the future to Steams, to activate a disk game for a digital license on your Xbox
account? Or this impossible due to the embedded nature of the disks for Xbox games?

Any insight would be appreciated.

On this date there is no chance to get the game as digital version without to buy them.

No, people would try to rent game and then try to install and take back, or they would install to console and sell, which would not work for the new person that buys it

I haven't even heard rumours or whispers of this which makes me think it's not happening anytime soon. Especially since most consoles are moving away from discs and focusing solely on digital content. It could happen one day I suppose but I doubt it.

You can't do that right now, but We must wait what MS have for us about that topic when the big E3 surprise will revealed
