COUCH CO-OP/playing at home with a group of m8s is back

Ok iv read alot of sooo many are missing this,well our prayers are answered in Rayman legends on xb1,someone said to me this week rayman has been a staple diet of gaming for years and i couldnt agree more.

IGN says 9.5 HUGE WOOP! i quote "best platformer ever" un quote since the dawn of time! lmao,30 more levels than xbox 360 version,epic gameplay,a soundtrack thats on the awards front.

I am buzzing about this as its a big part of gaming for me too.And ONLY 40 quid.

Lack of couch co-op

Borderlands:The Handsome collection will be split-screen.

but i was a huge couch co-op player back in the day, noticed with the 360 that couch co-op games were getting less and less as time went on. you can always do the "home console" method and then at least you'll only have to buy 1 gold sub, and only one copy
of digital games.

 

XBox One: Really missing couch Co-op

I feel like the biggest thing missing with this generation of XBox and really this generation of gaming is the couch co-op. Not being able to play COD or Dead Rising 3 campaigns with someone else in my own home is really grinding my gears. I think there
are plenty of people who are obsessed with online multiplayer that couch co-op doesn't hurt the bottom line.

Really hoping for more couch co-op; maybe I'll just have to wait for Borderlands 3.

I aint tried rayman yet but i am thinking about getting it. I was looking at strider but i drifted away from that

 

Get Peggle 2 for couch co-op gameplay..............wait a sec, they haven't included it. But Popcap have said they will release DLC which enables local co-op play for free! What great guys they are. Free local multiplayer option. Last gen, eat your heart
out.

 

Is this sarcasm above me? I can't tell. Is it really such a problem for them to include it free later?

 

Fully sarcastic. It just doesn't make sense that they released the game with no local MP. Original Peggle game is a great family/friend co-op game.

I am guessing the game was rushed out with the mantra of "we'll patch it in later". A trend some other companies have adopted it seems.

i don't know .. i've made the decision to not buy into ports that are on Xbox 360 and don't offer any major upgrades.

 

I liked Rayman origins. but legends is 1080p 60f on 360/ps3 and I read that the load times are looong on Xbox One and PS4 so long they even removed that little load screen thing that let you run around so I will grab this in a few weeks for 20$ on 360.

 

There is zero loading time on Xbox One version.

 

Another one coming out tuesday is plants vs zombies which has local co-op available only on x1.
