Costume Quest 2 0x87de07d1

I downloaded this as part of Games with Gold in May 2016. Went to play it today and I got an error message (0x87de07d1 - “Do you own this game or app?”).

I decided to uninstall it, but It does not show up in my Install Queue.

It shows as £11.99 on Xbox Store on the console and online, dont understand how this has been removed from my account when I got it free with GWG?

Absolutely loved the 1st one so was eagerly anticipating this release.
It wasn't available through the store as "New Releases", i had to search for Costume and it appeared.
Downloaded last night and again, even with my high expectations it hasn't let me down.
Highly recommend, especially with its Halloween theme.

Hello there thanks for the response. I was part of the preview, but I opted out of it. I currently have the latest public dashboard installed.

 

Hello, I am also having this exact same issue (except I have not uninstalled the game). In addition, I am also receiving the same error code for The Crew as well as Defense Grid 2. I am not part of Xbox One Update Preview.

Hello, I hope I am not hijacking Major Angry's Thread.

I have tried everything in the “Do you own this game or app?” link provided, nothing works. I even tried the "Chat with Microsoft Support" and even they weren't 100% sure of the issue, but did identify that this game (and the others listed) do not appear
in my game licenses. They seem to have no evidence that I ever downloaded it at all, which seems strange to me. Costume Quest 2 appears in My Games list on Xbox One, but not on Xbox.com.

Not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions?

 

Just wondering if there is any updates on this as Costume Quest 2 is still not tied to my Account, still shows as £11.99 on the Console/Xbox.com

Just to clarify, did you download the content while still participating in the Xbox One Preview Update? Some content may not be available to access if you opted out after making the purchase while in preview. Once the update is available to everyone you
should have access to the content.

 

Hi Mister Maka, I downloaded it while I was part of the preview program. Im now back on the Official Public Dashboard as I opted out. Other games with gold titles that were downloaded on the preview program still work.

Titles purchased and downloaded before the most recent preview update should still be available, but Costume Quest 2 was part of last month's Games with Gold which would explain why you're unable to access it while out of the preview currently. Please wait
