Costed $3.50 took $5

So I just bought the game total miner and it costs $3.50 but instead of taking $3.50 it took $5 out of my account

Some countries add tax at the point of sale.

Check the invoice in your email.

Pretty much that. The advertised price doesn't take into account taxes. Here for example, taxes are 13% (HST). So a game that costs $1.00 will cost $1.13 in my invoice.

 

The tax rate would need to be 43% to take it from $3.50 to $5. I'm assuming you're in the US, in which case, tax is only 7%. I'd go with THEOWENKILLER and call Xbox support & speak to someone in billing.

If it's Total Miner Forge, on the Xbox Marketplace it's actually currently priced at $2.99.
