Sorry to hear you have been running into this issue with the Xbox One console, If you have not already tried the power solution troubleshooters I would advise that you take a look at the following support pages and follow the steps provided to see if this
resolves the problem.

• Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off
• Your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on

If the troubleshooters are not working then a repair would be needed, the price for the service is so that the console is repaired and sent back to you in working conditions. Yes the option to purchase a new console is there and it is completely up to you,
but you can always send in your console and be sure that you will get back a console in great working conditions.

I dont think it is worth I believe that this black friday the xbox s would be on sale. Just wait and see if the information it's accurate. Best of luck.

Thank you. I did purchase a new one, but it does not look good that a piece of equipment less than a year old, hardly use broke. I only purchase another for when kids are here they are not bored.

If the console is less than a year old as you stated, there shouldn't be any charge as the console should be repaired/replaced under warranty.

That does seem pricey. If it's that much just to look at the Xbox, then it might be worth it to wait and get a new one during the holiday sales. They had deals for Black Friday that were much cheaper than that for a brand new Xbox, so there might be some
good deals again like that before the end of the year.
