Paying NZ$79.40 would be like paying AU$77.15 but Microsoft is only charging Australia $49.95 for Recore. I don't get why they have to charge so much more on the NZ market. I should complain XD but I'm a nice person. Maybe on their official feedback site.

There's really only two Games I truly regret buying in the past two decades or so and that's Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Borderlands 2 was a "talked into" by Friends and I knew based on how boring Borderlands was playing solo I was not going to like BL2. The actual "cost versus value" of that I'm not really sure of I would have to check how long I played it for. It wasn't long,
so it has a "value" I guess that could be assigned to it. For me it's worth nothing and was wasted time which I could have been better spent doing or playing something I enjoyed. If adding that metric it was a negative "value".

Aliens: CM, yes I played it through and finished it but that in no way elevates the poor worth and "value" of that Game. I have been and will always be a pure Alien/ Aliens fan and I have waited since Video Games began and Aliens was released to have a true
and accurate Aliens Game.

"Dead Or Alive: Last Round".

One of my favourite games and one of the most technically advanced fighters around but a game destroyed by being smashed into puzzle pieces in the hopes that they could sell the game to people 1 piece at a time and we wouldn't notice that we'd end up paying
more for it.

Great game that nobody plays because who wants to strike up a relationship with a game that tries to impress you with the prospect of a £500.00 DLC price tag.

"Fallout 4" for really being "Fallout 3.5".

"Neverwinter" for the Capital City being a giant Shop that is full of Shops and monuments to the different shops that they have and even having shops to allow you to shop at different shops and did we mention... there's a Shop?

"Dead Or Alive" and "Fallout 4" are at least fun to play, just huge disappointments.
Elohm have you played Alien Isolation?
Yes and I loved every second of it. From the uneasy feeling of silence in the beginning to the heart pounding ending realizing its all gone from terrible to worst.

Alien Isolation is one of the few Games this Gen that was worth every dime and then some. I would love for the Devs to take a crack at a "real" Aliens Game.

I think anyone who thinks about "class action lawsuit" over a game they played more than 10 hours, needs to lose all their electronics for 6 months. And have to use a rotary phone for 3 years.

Are bugs in the fallout since the update. Yes. the scorpions are mess up. You friend is off the deep end. Please chain him to a chair and force him to play 1000 hours of the BOARD game Candyland with first graders.

Never have I got such reward from games as I get this generation, almost every game I have played to completion has delivered enjoyment in spades and content to match. I've picked up one or two bad games but they were cheap anyway e.g. BF Hardline.
Everything else has been worth every penny. But then I tend to play my games to completion and then sometimes replay if its appropriate.

I guess if you bought pretty much every game that comes out and played the first level before moving on and buying the next title to and repeating this process over and over then you wouldn't feel like this gen offered any real value.

If you don't actually play a game through I don't see how you can expect to get value or worth out of it in my view. (let alone pass comment on its depth or lack of, but that's another issue). But on the flip side I guess if someone plays for five minutes
and gets what they wanted they've had their value from their perspective. .

11. I do not look at cost. I have spent $30 on something that gave me 2 hour (approximately) of entertainment and enjoyed it. Was worth it. And I have played games for 8-10 hours and found that, in the end, it was fun. Just not that great. Still got 10
hours out of it.

And I cannot say what your friend was doing for 1000 or so hours. I mean, he could have just been waiting for mods and stuff and figured there would be more fun once they hit. And played the game while waiting. Now the feeling could be the time was wasted.
Things like this can be an eye opener. Not sure in this case but I have seen plenty of times where gamers look back and wonder why they put some much time in a game. I know a guy who played over 500 hours on a game. The game could be 100% and you could
see and do everything in about 60 hours without rush. But the guy was trying mods and was looking forward to some. And nothing really was what he wanted. Some never made it. And he was basically disappointed. Some for just putting that much time in while
other great games where there.

Fallout 4 was worth every penny of the thirty six british pounds I spent on it, was the season pass worthy of £25? Not really but Nuka World went some way to making up for it.

Other than Preston Garvey (?) the only thing I truly disliked about Fallout 4 was the load times and strangely enough, the save times - it took an absolute age to save!!! I played a few hours of Fallout 3 the week before Nuka World came out and it saved
so fast. Very odd.

So after spending well over 250+ hours on Fallout 4 I'd like to think I've had well over my vfm and when there's a lull in releases next year I'll start a fresh playthrough using these dodgy mods.

To be honest, i'm more disapointed in myself for not having the time to play all the games i've bought! Alien Isolation (Mahoosive Alien fan), Evil Within (BIG horror fan), Evolve (Stunning game), Shadow of Mordor (Great game), Withcher 3 (Looks stunning)
and several more I can't even remember without looking at my 'ready to install' list. Bought ReCore too.(I will play it. I WILL PLAY IT).

Big let downs for me are Battleborn, Battlefield 4, Division, Halo 5 and Hardline.

For shame. For shame..........

I think Microsoft has corrected the pricing error for Recore as there was a pricing error on the xbox one store for new zealand. one page on xbox.com said nz $59.99 another said nz $79.40. I complained about this to xbox support and they apologized and were
going to refer this to microsoft. I think those in charge of pricing at microsoft need to be far more aware of google currency convertor! I got it yesterday for nz $79.40 which is the equivalent of $77 australian about. I checked te store this morning and
microsoft has.... finally... corrected the buy price to a more fairer nz $58. Because xbox australia store they sell it for A $49.95.

However microsoft were too late in correcting it. they finally looked up google currency convertor and charged a more RRP price of now nz $58. i think someone at microsoft xbox pricing needs to be re-trained so this kind of mistake doesnt happen again.

I did even mention to xbox support about the price discrepency, I even mentioned it was misleading under NZ Law. But xbox support didnt have the authority to give it to me even though one page on xbox.com said it was nz $59.99. They wanted me to pay the
nz $79.40 which was listed on another page so i did. Rant over.
