I just wish they'd hurry up with the update... they always announce updates too early and leave us waiting ages, usually for me I've forgotten it's due by the time it arrives.

Time goes by and I forget. Live tiles is a great idea though.

 

Looking forward to this. Windows phone really needs to catch up to IOS and Android.

 

It will do eventually... they're making a big push on getting new games onto WP8 as well at the moment (hence my sig)

I think Ryan has a HTC but broke his screen. I was gunna nab that off him till I saw the state of it lol

 

Just updated my phone thanks to WP8 developer programme and Cortana Is not available Outside the US. Currently

Yeah I just did it today. But cortana wont work on my HTC as I cant change the laguage to american US

 

It's the region you want to change, but I personally wouldn't advise it. Billing and other issues arise... Nobody listens to me though.

WP8.1 is a great update. I've been on it for a week today.

This. Or, at least, I used to think this.

Yes, Live Tiles are awesome and I would not give them up, but the Notification Centre compliments them so well. A central place for all notifications and so easy to check incoming notifications that you missed, where the apps don't necessarily show a tile
notifications (Smartglass/Games Hub, for instance, regarding Live messages).

As for Cortana, it would be cool to see that integrated with Kinect's voice commands.

And Viral, it will reply with Chief. If you're in the US. Else we just have to wait.
