    Cortana Responds from Multiple Devices


    I have a Windows 10 computer im the same room as the Xbox, and usually have my windows phone on me so when I say "hey Cortana" they all respond. This was never an issue with the "Xbox" command. Someone didn't think this through or didn't expect their customers
    to own multiple windows devices. I could turn off Cortana on Xbox, but the original Xbox commands were very unresponsive.

    Cortana does not work!

    Scooter3303 - I am having the exact same difficulty. Cortana responds to "Hey Cortana" but doesn't hear anything after that. Typing information is useless as she "thinks" endlessly. The new update has been installed. Cortana was turned "on" and XBOX restarted.
    Internet is connected. My profile is signed in. XBOX has been through multiple full power cycles with Kinect cord plugged and unplugged. Kinect was successfully recalibrated multiple times. Cortana still doesn't work via the Kinect or my official XBOX One
    headset. Hoping for an update for this bug!

    A harem of Cortanas huh? Well i will be getting hololens for that!

    From what I gathered both xbox and windows Cortana will respond to "hey Cortana" so that is where it may get a bit messy. It can be toggled off but i am guessing some people and myself wouldn't prefer to do that.

    It would be great if only one Cortana was needed to control both xbox and windows 10 no matter what device i am on.

    What do you think is causing Cortana to not pic up voive commands now? Headset removed from picture. Also when I open Cortana and click "push to talk" she responds "Rats, I don't detect a mic" (something like that). Before, one would just say "Cortana"
    and she would respond. Again, without any headset being involved.

    Have details of how Cortana works on W10? Will she respond to the 'Hey Cortana' command and, if so, can it be toggled off?
