Cortana not installed?

Here’s an interesting one: New Xbox One X.

Can’t find Cortana in apps. When going to settings, Cortana- I’m getting a “you need an app for that”. Trying to search for it results in a search for “ms-Cortana” in App Store, with no results.

Try power cycling your console, and try activating Cortana again. To power cycle, press & hold the power button on console until it turns off. Then turn back on.

Yeah, or go to settings and turn on digtial assistant

Cortana is built into the xbox software

You can activate her by saying hey Cortana using kinect or mic but can not be in a party to use it

Good morning,

I would try and uninstall the Cortana app and the Xbox app, and find a different network to connect to. Then install the Xbox app first and sign in, after re-install the Cortana app and see if that helped.
