Cortana is the worst decision ever made

I thought Cortana worked pretty well. After a few minutes of getting it going I was using it pretty fast. And it would respond fast. But I was using a headset. Need to give feedback on that. Let them know because I do not mind the "hey Cortana" but
the "xbox" and then "play <game>" or "record that" and things need to be left with the xbox. Those are xbox functions.

When I first tried Cortana it actually would take my game playing commands and search the web. Same exact commands and it finally started loading the game. So it definitely needs some work. The great thing is that this is still in testing. With enough
feedback they should be able to implement things that people want.

Absolutely. And they would not have an issue either. I amazes me the number of people I have had to show Windows 10. They where under all kinds of false assumptions from things they had read. They decided to take the chance since you can roll back. Not
one did.

So does Cortana yet have the voice of Cortana?

When the Microsoft Tech boys demod this for us ages ago it didn't have her voice and they were like "Oh... it's coming later".

Did it ever happen?

"Hey Cortana" isn't "the worst decision".

But what is wrong,is that,one more time,there are no announcements about Xbox voice commands not being supported anymore and why.

And don't really understand why i can't have both.

At least,i can turn off "Hey Cortana" and use my Xbox one (what's left of it) like any current gen console, with a controller.Boring but less frustrating.

Hm, well I'm not sure how I feel about this.

In a way it sounds great I would no longer have the fear of saying "moldy socks" and my Xbox One Opening the One Guide (or something else) but then again, I already unplugged the pos Kinect.

I rarely if never use a Mic any longer so I don't really think I would have much use for this Feature in any way. I haven't checked if the Update is available yet. I do wonder what new words would have huge caution marks and no say zone in my room where my
Xbox is at now though, "more potatoes"?

Actually... KINECT not being an option at launch... is the worst decision ever made.

I do understand that it is still under work, I even mentioned that in my original post. I am complaining about how they messed up the system that didn't need fixing in the first place.

I hate Cortana as it is but it is in the early stages.That's the point of the preview program,to give feedback so they can improve things before general release.
