Cortana is a huge step backwards

I like Cortana on my Win 10 machines. But it's a nightmare on my Xbox One. Others have already noted that 'Hey Cortana' is longer to say than 'Xbox'. But I could live with that if only Cortana could do proper voice control. 'Hey Cortana Select Netflix'.
'I'm bringing up what I found for Netflix in the Store'. So the new keyword seems to be 'launch' instead of 'select', but is the app not able to detect that Netflix is already loaded on my system and spare me the trip to the store. If the command is not recognized,
the Cortana app is snapped and I can't reissue the command without unsnapping. And then there was the time I was selecting the show I wanted to watch in Crunchyroll. After several iterations, she finally understood 'My Queue' ('why do'? 'nibu'? What was
the app hearing?) and 'next page' went fairly well but when I said 'five' for the numbered options, Cortana would display my input correctly ('5') but wouldn't actually select the show. I finally gave up and stopped what I was doing (cooking) and went and
got the controller and did it manually. Like I said, Cortana is nice on a Win 10 device but it needs some serious tweaking before turning it loose on an Xbox.

A step backwards

I'm extremely happy with my Xbox-one, I'm happy with the price I paid, I'm happy with how it performs, I'm happy with the games I play on it.

Dont find it a mess at all. Use Kinect voice and everything it dead easy. Its a bit clunky without the voice control but newflash that what is was designed to be used with.

Hello there! You can now turn Cortana off and go back to using 'Xbox'

I feel this would be best put on the feedback page, this is looked at frequently and people can vote if they agree with you.

No, I'm not asking for new features or anything (some clever ideas on the feedback page), I just want the existing ones to keep working with Cortana. And, yes, I've already disabled it and gone back to what works.

Piztup-

I would expect the next console to fully integrate the whole of the Marketplace, and backward compatability into it seemlessly. Be a huge step backwards if MS had to build a new Marketplace for the new console.

Cortana has a huge active user base. If i recall the issue is that only a small percentage of Xbox users actively use Cortana. There's no point in putting a lot of development into something that almost no one is using.
