How do I get Cortana to pause videos quickly - takes about 5 to 15 seconds (doesn't work at times due to mysterious internet issues that she has but I have no evidence of - I doubt that female bots are technically challenged - come on Microsoft)?

Also, I used to say "XBox watch Sci-Fi" and it would turn on the Sci-Fi channel every time. Why does Cortana want to "go shopping" in the store? I hate to sound sexist, but going shopping is often the first reaction of the better half of the species. (Come
on Microsoft)

I like the fact that you want the experience to remain consistent across Xbox, Windows, and the Windows Phone. Why I use Android, Chrome (OS too), and am thinking that if Google ever comes out with a console I will sell any MIcrosoft Stock.

BTW while typing this - reset back to "XBox" Kinext commands, restarted my console, and "XBox watch SciFi" had me there in about 2 seconds -- fond farewell you Halo B____. And I type about 50 wpm.

Different language in menus vs voice commands

Hi

Is there, or do MS have plans to implement, a possibility to use a "foreign language" (in my case Norwegian) as system language (menus etc), while the language for voice commands are set to English? As far as i can see the spoken language is grayed out when
using my native language as system language.

Its fair enough that kinect (Cortana) dont support my language (yet?), but it should be possible to use my native language elsewhere.

What's up with so many ambassadors?

Also you gotta take into account 2 things

Ambassadors don't speak all languages so native language help does help people who cannot speak English

Also ambassadors don't specialize in all areas like I'm good with hardware and live and some billing issues

But some may specialize in gameplay depending what game

Well what's nice about Cortana is that she will learn, like Siri and Google Now have over the years: at first they were pretty dumb, but slowly picked up and which commands were popular and were able to prioritize them. Cortana is the same way, she just
launched for the Xbox platform and has to learn what commands are most popular so she can do what people want faster, I bet in a few months she'll be just as fast, if not faster, than the traditional commands.

If Microsoft are going to keep this ridicoulus language lock at least tell us why :

- Why a person moving from one region to another should be denied to use his own language on Xbone?

- Why a person moving to or living in a non-english speaking region should be denied using Kinect voice control in english even if that person has english as h*s native language or speaks english fluently?

- Why a person living in a region should be forced to use the regions native language and not choose language freely?

- Google understands that a language lock is plain stupid.

- Sony understands it.

- Apple understands it.

- 99% of people that gets this explained understands it.

Microsoft apparently do NOT understand it.

Why?

My guess is that like all the other threads about this and all the thousands of users complaining about this, the answer from Microsoft will be silence...
