Cortana gives wrong location

When I ask Cortana the time, or weather, or my location she/it thinks I'm in Stockholm, Sweden. I am actually in Illinois, U.S.A. The onscreen clock is accurate. I've checked settings/system/language & location and it's set to the U.S. I don't see a
selection for location/time zone in Cortana. What am I missing? This is on a Xbox One X.

Cortana not working on xbox one

since i got my xbox one i tried to set cortana up. but keeps telling me its not supported in my language or location. well i know other english ppl using it and i live in canada and know ppl with the xbox one s who can use cortana in canada so i know its
not the location. but yet still gives me that issue. anything i can do or is it a issue on microsoft side of it?

Cortana Issue

Hi im having an issue using Cortana it says that Cortana and dictation and not available in my language and location. Im in Canada and my language is English. Doeas anyone have any ideas or has this same problem?

Go to "Settings > System > Time", and check if your time zone is set to "(UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)". It should be set to this, since you say you live in Illinois. Also make sure that your
Microsoft account information is up to date with a US address.

One more thing I can think of, is your IP address traced to the US? You may get results from elsewhere around the globe if your network is behind a VPN or proxy.

All settings are correct. I even reset to console for a double check. My Profile/Account info is correct. I'm not behind a VPN or use a proxy. My IP traces to the correct area. The problem is not major, but is annoying.

Thanks Smwutches that did it! I didnt even know I could create a new account. i thought it was locked to the first.

I dont know why any of the 3 suppoer people I have talked to mentioned this.

I suppose there is no way to get the 1200 points transfered to my new account?

Hello I had Xbox live gold for year, then I canceled it, nonetheless bills continue to come, and today it took money for xbox live gold but it didnt activate for some reason maybe because i changed region. How can I return my money ASAP, since my account
