Corsair Wireless 2100 Headset

Hi Guys

I have the above headset for my PC which is wireless and has a usb dongle which plugs into my pc

is there anyway i can get this to work with my xbox one?

[Suggestion] XB1: Better device support for Wireless Headsets

The other day I purchased a new headset from Corsair, the Void Wireless, which works perfectly fine on PC, PS3 and PS4 because you can simply attach its wireless receiver to the console, and then that will detect the headset is connected with no fuss. As
my headset doesn't use a USB cable except for charging, however, I can't use it with the XB1 system, and the only headset that satisfies both companies wirelessly is $300.

Since the Xbox One came out, things have not been as rosy when it comes to seamless communication. In most cases, the headset adapter is needed to run any headset through the console, drains the controller battery twice as fast, and I haven't found a single
instance where "Play 'n Charge" actually works to keep the controller from dying!

Most wireless headsets come with an external receiver/control unit to pair it to the console (Astro, Corsair, Steelseries, Turtle Beach etc), so I think it's high time that Microsoft offers support to attach those without needing to pass-through the headset
adapter.

 

Help choosing headset

Corsair Void Stereo Gaming Headset.

These are seriously one of the most comfortable headset/headphones that you will find out there, and they're relatively inexpensive. For an analog/stereo headset, these are one of the best out there, and they also have 50mm drivers in each cup (sound is pretty damn good). For me, I'm all about comfort for extended gaming sessions, and these ones excel in that area.

Unfortunately, I believe that at the moment headsets can only be used if they plug in directly to the controller, or through the Xbox headset adapter, which is jack to USB which goes into the controller.

This means that the headset you use may not currently work on the Xbox One.

 

You should be able to get sound to work but chat is only available as medium bloke said through the controller itself. I am hoping they can in the future enable chat through USB.

 

I plugged in my headset but had no sound any thoughts?
