    Corsair Void Headset stopped working


    My Corsair Void Pro Hybrid headset has worked perfect for 8 months, but it has recently started to lose connection, and now has stopped working completely. My Xbox One S, Elite controller , or my back up controller will not recognize
    the headset. I have tried using the 3.5mm Jack and the USB adapter. Neither will work.

    I have connected the headset to my PC and it works fine with 3.5 mm jack and USB. Both my controllers are up to date. Can anyone help with this issue?

    Help choosing headset

    Corsair Void Stereo Gaming Headset.

    These are seriously one of the most comfortable headset/headphones that you will find out there, and they're relatively inexpensive. For an analog/stereo headset, these are one of the best out there, and they also have 50mm drivers in each cup (sound is pretty damn good). For me, I'm all about comfort for extended gaming sessions, and these ones excel in that area.

    [Suggestion] XB1: Better device support for Wireless Headsets

    The other day I purchased a new headset from Corsair, the Void Wireless, which works perfectly fine on PC, PS3 and PS4 because you can simply attach its wireless receiver to the console, and then that will detect the headset is connected with no fuss. As
    my headset doesn't use a USB cable except for charging, however, I can't use it with the XB1 system, and the only headset that satisfies both companies wirelessly is $300.

    Since the Xbox One came out, things have not been as rosy when it comes to seamless communication. In most cases, the headset adapter is needed to run any headset through the console, drains the controller battery twice as fast, and I haven't found a single
    instance where "Play 'n Charge" actually works to keep the controller from dying!

    Most wireless headsets come with an external receiver/control unit to pair it to the console (Astro, Corsair, Steelseries, Turtle Beach etc), so I think it's high time that Microsoft offers support to attach those without needing to pass-through the headset
    adapter.

    Hi, your headset use USB to connect to PC, sadly you can't use it with Xbox One. You need an headset with 3,5mm jack.

    How do I fix the Xbox app on PC not letting me unmute my mic?

    The troubleshooting steps I have taken are resetting the Xbox app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, checking permissions and made sure the app is up to date. The mic works fine in the game bar except for the party overlay, I can click the mute/unmute button but it has no effect. My headset is a Corsair Void Elite and is connected via the Corsair wireless USB dongle. I have tested my mic works multiple times through windows and the Xbox app itself, and I have no problems with any other app just the Xbox app party chat.

    I don't think it's Gears, from everything I've read in the past there is a known issue with Corsair Void wireless headsets not playing sound. I know that sometimes switching usb ports fixes the issue. Also you can
    try setting it as your default sound device.

    Go to Control Panel>Sound
    Right Click the Void Headset in Playback Devices
    Select “Set As Default Device”
