Corruption at Microsoft - My Experience With Xbox

I'm making a post here in an act of desperation as customer support and Xbox's Twitter support have failed to help me and instead have told me to do pointless things such as check if im eligible for a case review e.t.c. even though my account isn't banned
just my console and I have no way to make one.

I first noticed my Xbox console was banned 2 days ago when I started up my xbox for the first time in a few months to play the new Call of Duty. It installed fine and as I tried to start it whilst logging into my account it said it could not start due to my
account or the console being banned and that I was to disconnect the console from the internet to play online.

Immediately I contacted customer support. I've known many companies which have bad customer support but I have never seen any which are as bad and as confusing as Xbox's. I started off on twitter



They re-directed me to microsoft support. Okay good I thought, they will be able to resolve this. Never have I been more wrong

Having to deal with confusing steps and bad english at the hands of these "microsoft employees" I wasn't even led anywhere useful, I wish I could show the full conversation but these are just a few screenshots I have saved on discord from the time when I was

For the record she linked me to this page Xbox Ambassadors
which just asks you if you want to become an Xbox ambassador? I don't know if she wants me to become one as she thinks I would be better at her job than her? But either way it just seems like a way of trying to get onto the next customer due to not actually
knowing what to do or how to help me. She also linked me to a community forum similar to this where people could vote? for ideas they wanted e.t.c. Which I don't see how the community voting on whether my console should be unbanned or not is going to help
me get my console unbanned in any way.

Remember when I said that I first found out my console was banned 2 days earlier? On the 15th of december? Well one of the microsoft customer support staff who was the only one that gave me some information told me that my console had been banned since Dec
2, 2017 4:55:18 AM. Which I find very odd as I hadn't even been playing xbox around that time. Infact I had only been playing Skyrim offline months before that which confuses me with this console ban. Microsoft says it bans consoles if they have been modified
or opened up. My xbox is first hand and was bought at Game. It still has the warranty sticker in tact and has never been opened up

I could keep going on and spewing more reasons that Microsoft have flaws in their company but I wont bore you. Its time to get back to the main reason I wrote this. Which was to help get my console unbanned. If any of you out their know the best way to contact
Microsoft, and im not talking customer support which are just filled with people who don't actually have any power over this situation then could you please reply to this with the best course of action I can take. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

TL;DR - Xbox False banned my console and their customer support is flawed and doesn't know how to help me

Game downloaded on Xbox market place saying disc read error at certain point in the the game.

it's been my experience that when downloadable content is asking or complaining about discs it's an issue with corruption on the hard drive

Support doesn't handle enforcement actions. Only the enforcement team does. You can find more information about consoles bans here - Xbox Enforcement | How Do I (opening
them up is not the only way to be banned) but there is no way to contact then regarding console bans. If It's temporary, you would just need to wait it out. If It's permanent, you'd need a new console.

 

So i've to buy a new console even though I haven't broken the Xbox rules? I'm aware there are other reasons you can be console banned, I have looked at them and haven't broken any. You realise this is illegal and fraudulent on Microsoft's part.

 

Well is there anyone else who uses/has access to your console?

The enforcement team doesnt just hand out console bans willy nilly. They are only given for the worst/repeated violations of the code of conduct. The point is someone had to have done something pretty bad against the code of conduct while using your Xbox
for it to be given a console ban.

If there is anyone else who uses your console then i would start having a chat with them because either way you are responsible for all activity on your console and if the console ban is permanent then it won't be reversed for any reason.
