Corrupted Videos

Discus and support Corrupted Videos in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When I try to download a clip I recorded on my Xbox One, I open it and its a corrupted file. How do I fix this?     When I try to download a clip I recorded on my Xbox One, I open it and its a corrupted file. How do I fix this? And putting it in repair apps don't fix it either.

    Videos streaming from PC stop and give not supported format error.

    Nevermind this. After more investigation I figured out that a whole batch of videos got corrupted.

    Trying to purchase 1 month free trial, keep getting error message when "confirm purchase", Error code is 80070057, which apparantly has to do with corrupted videos!

    Help appreciated!

    That certainly isn't normal, it could be the app just needs a reinstall since everything else is working properly. I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app, that should hopefully correct it!

    After watching about 6 vids on YouTube, the corruption is back. I never had an issue like this with my old XBox.

    Uninstall and Reinstall the youtube app and see if that makes any difference

    Thanks for the reply. To help clarify,

    • Did you reach out to http://www.youtube.com/console_support? If the console is working with other games and apps, the issue may be pertaining to the app.

    If the issue persists, try doing a
    factory reset - keep games & apps     to help refresh the operating system on the Xbox One X.

    Try this and let us know the results.
