    Corrupted Minecraft Save...


    This past April I bought a brand new Xbox one X, I transferred all my data from my old xbox to my new one, and all seemed to be fine, except for minecraft, some of my saves transferred just fine, but others, including my Ctiy world that my friends and I
    have worked very hard on, when I try to play on them, it tells me that it was corrupted, or was not fully synced, and to go back to somewhere where the save is stable, so I went back to my old xbox, but I had already deleted everything, so I had to reinstall
    minecraft, just to find out, I get the same error message, saying the world is not fully synced or corrupted. If this means anything, the day I was transferring data Xbox servers were also having issues.

    Things I have tried to fix it:

    -Uninstalling and reinstalling the game, aswell as clearing all synced user data.

    -Removing my account from the xbox and adding it back.

    (I've done both of these on both consoles)

    -I tried to load it into minecraft beta aswell, but I got the same error

    Any support helps, I appreciate it!!

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    Can I get a copy of my 'corrupted’ Minecraft world from the Xbox cloud service?

    Thanks. But my local save was not corrupted. It is that I did a Xbox factory reset. After that, I did try to re-sync my Minecraft world (500+MB) and the console said "the cloud save is corrupted".

    Is it possible that I get the "corrupted" save from your cloud storage and then I can try to repair it? The Minecraft save is so precious to us. Is this possible?

    There are many reasons for why this is happening, one reason that comes to mind is that there is corrupted save data: It's possible that the save data for your Minecraft game on your main profile has become corrupted, preventing the game from loading. Try deleting the saved data for Minecraft on your main profile and start the game again.

    Hello,

    If you see the Minecraft save as being corrupt then unfortunately it would need to be deleted in order to be able to access the game again.

    You can check if the save is corrupted by going to Settings > System > Storage > Hard Drive > Games and Apps > Minecraft > Check for any files that have a
    ( ! ) corrupt symbol.

    If you see something like this, that file will need to be deleted and you would need to start a new save file. There is no way to get back a corrupted file.
