    Corrupted Hardware?


    A few days ago my brother started having problems with his hard drive and today it stopped working its not showing up on his computer my xbox his xbox. Nothing thus far from reading hundreds of forums have helped. We think its corrupted any advice or anything
    to fix it?

    If still under warranty return it.

    If not you can replace it yourself (look on youtube)

    Or you can try and send it to Microsoft.

    Some files could be corrupt if that hardware supports the game. You could try turning down some of the graphics settings to see if that makes a difference or a re-install could correct corrupted files.

    The corruption is a hardware issue, so it won't spread to a new device. However, if the data you transfer is corrupted it won't become UNcorrupted when it's transferred, so nothing that's currently problematic is going to work with the new drive.
