    Apps not loading

    contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

    to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
    clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

    Corrupted game file

    so today I tried to play fortnite on my Xbox one, when I selected it I got a notification that said the file was corrupt. I did what it said to do (delete and renown load the game) but when I went back to try and install the game, it said INSTALLATION STOPPED.
    I tried to delete it again, but it just kept doing the same thing.... Please help

    I'm having issues with destiny. It always freezes at this one loading screen. I posted about it on the bungie forums and they gave me a bunch of suggestions but none of them worked. Then they said it was most likely a corrupted game file or a hardware issue
    and that I should talk to Xbox support. I'm not receiving any error messages. I think it's corrupted because even if I uninstall then reinstall it it still freezes. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your help!

    Can you try putting the game on an external Hard drive (USB3.0 and at least 256GB) to see if it's a hard drive issue? For more info see here:

    Once you have the hard drive in and formatted according to the instructions on that page you can go to My Games and Apps > Games > Push START on your game > Manage > Move all to external storage.

    You can also just try a power cycle by holding down the power button on the console until it turns off, reboot (make sure you see the green xbox logo screen with 3 pulsing dots) as this fixes many random issues.

    The thing is I don't have an external hard drive and they cost like 70 bucks. I was just wondering if there was a way to fix it without the external hard drive.

    Can you uninstall it, power cycle as I posted above, install another game (such as a 360 title or any other game), power cycle, and then reinstall Destiny?

    Corrupt GAME files

    Just sucks because every single game has been corrupted. I might have to format the HD in windows and then format it on the xbox - no clue what to do beyond that... Just SUCKS when the games take 16 hours to dload.

    Please try clearing your system cache 3 times consecutively and see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't, you may have to delete the save or it could corrupt other files as well.
