Corrupted Game download

I've redeemed a code of GoW 3, it got associated to my account successfully, in my xbox 360 I go to my "Download History" and the game appears just fine...

but when I try to download it, overtime it says "Corrupted" at the end of the download... The name and size of the game shows correct on USB storage.. but it says "corrupted". any workaround or solution?

Any help will be appreciated =)

OK both of you does your account region match your actual region or you at least physically live in the us if not that is probably why

For the best experiences with Xbox live and any online service your physical region must match your account region

I bought on Saturday Red Dead Redemption on Us Xbox store,

but when I try to download the game, it getting corrupted all the time.

I did a "Clear System Cache" but is didn't work.

anyone with an idea why it happening ? or what to do ?

That can sometimes be the sign of a region issue. Does your account region match your physical location?

 

Well I'm using a VPN because now I'm outside US... but the weird thing is that the xbox let me redeem the code using the same VPN...

 

The game is region locked so your account region has to match your physical location in order to properly download it. In some cases region locked games will allow you to purchase or redeem them because your account region is set to a region that the game
is available in, but the download will either stop at 80% or show as corrupt because during the download the system recognizes that you're not actually in that region. I'm not sure why it would do that with a VPN, but it sounds like it still did that in your
case.

It sounds like Smwutches is on the right path with the region mismatch bit. If you aren't sure, you can try running your Xbox Live account through the
migration tool and then try re-downloading the game and see what happens.
