"corrupted file"

I have been given the game online “Fallout 3” that was bought in London, U.K.. This game was registered in my Xbox 360 The download of this game stops at around 70% and a message says that it is corrupted. Can you tell me how to solve this problem please?

Im currently having issues with SAVE FILE IS CORRUPT on FORZA! It states that i have to go to xbox dashboard and create a new one, ive looked high and low and can't find where to do this!

This occured when i bought a tuneing setup and can now not apply this setting. any help would be greatfully recieved.

My friend played through the entire campaign offline on Hardcore. He joined XBL Gold 1 month trial, changed his gamertag b/c his original one was taken, and now he gets a corrupted file message. He can't even copy his saved game to back it up, he has to
move it. He also lost his level progress. Anyone else having issues with corrupted files?

 

Hi, try deleting the game completely off your hard drive then clearing your console's. To clear the cache go to settings, system, storage, highlight hdd, press the y button, select clear cache then restart your console. After your console restarts try downloading
the game again and it should work.

 

If this is a digital download, how was it "given" to you? Are you pointing out that it was from the UK because you are not in the UK? If your account is from a different region than the purchase it could cause problems. If you are attempting to acquire
this content via license transfer, this could be seen as marketplace theft/fraud and can lead to console and account bans.

1- my father has my details account of xbox. He can buy games through his computer and download it in to my xbox360.

2- I understand that it could be a problem if I am in a part of the world other than the UK. I do spend several months a year in the UK, and in other parts of the world too because of my job. I always carry the Xbox with me. Therefore I'd like to be able
to use the game Fallout 3, and other games for that matter, wherever I am.

 

Well there's your problem right there. Certain games are region locked and can only be downloaded and played in the region in which they were purchased. As you are not physically located in the UK at the moment you won't be able to download it. The region
locks are put in place by publishers so don't go getting all mad at Microsoft but there is really nothing that can be done.
