Corrupted file will not save

    Corrupted file will not save


    I Just gave on of my family members one of my xbox box one's that i had and i had a digital copy of 2k15 installed on it along with some other games. The game would save with no file corruption at my home with internet but when played at his (without internet)
    the game would never actually save the game. So when the system would turn off of the game was quit it would start over from the beginning as if the game had just gotten installed and never played. Would this change if he were to go out and buy a disc version
    of it?

    Did MS give up on "the cloud"?

    Speaking in a somewhat related direction, cloud saving saved my ass, last night. (No pun intended.) For whatever reason, my save for Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO was corrupt...corrupted(?). Anyway, I deleted the local save file, rebooted the game, and it sync'd up with my XBL save, and I was good to go.

    Corrupted save file

    It only happened with Gears3, but I decided to suck it up and start again. Thanks anyway.

    Im 60 hours in. I'd hate to have it corrupt. Of course, I never try to dashboard or turn it off when I die, but still....

    yeah my game got corrupted 28 hours in to the game .......well pissed off , it doesnt load my saved file it just freezes

    so my hard effort i think im just going to trade the game in tbh , unless there a way to fix it

    Is it corrupt or unreadable? Because there is a difference...

    Unreadable: Your disc or Xbox isnt functioning properly. Try diffrent games, if they are too unreadable your xbox is flawed. If those other games work fine, your Skyrim disc is damaged. Nonetheless, once you find out get xbox/game restored and cleaned.

    Corrupt: This damage is irrevocable and
    CAN NOT BE FIXED. So before you decide to get rid of your game save, make sure that the file is indeed corrupt.
