Corrupted downloads on license transfer

So I recently license transferred with a friend, he lives in U.K., I live in U.S., and when I downloaded his profile to license transfer and download a game, (Black Ops 1) I was greeted with a corrupted file in my hard drive and was never able to actually
download it. I've contacted support and they coupdnt do anything. Help me now before I tie a noose. I am going mad. Just help me. Btw both of my discs broke so that's why i decided to resort to license transferring. I want to die.

How do I obtain licenses for content?

Licenses are automatically acquired when you download content. If a license is missing or has become corrupted, you can access the download history on your Xbox 360 console and redownload that content to reacquire a license. This process refreshes existing
licenses and does not transfer licenses to a new console, unless the license transfer tool was used first.

You can transfer content licenses from one console to another once every four months.

If your console was recently repaired, or if you’ve purchased a new console, use the license transfer option on your console to transfer content licenses. Here’s how:

1. On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.
   
2. Go to the Settings, and then select Account.
3. Go to Your Billing Options, and then select License Transfer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content licenses.

After the licenses are transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licenses. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox LIVE.

Broken hard drive! I have a few questions about transferring data.

If you know for certain it is corrupted, avoid doing a transfer. You could transfer content but the odds are good that the content will be corrupted in the new HD. Transfer cable transfers game saves, profiles, achievements, game licenses etc.

 

That would be because the game is region locked. In order to download the game, you would have to be in the UK.

You should also be aware that sharing your account information is a violation of the code of conduct and the license transfer tool is not meant to be used to share games like that, so you both would be at risk for being banned.
