    Corrupted Data


    I downloaded Forza Horizon a while ago off the marketplace (when it was offered for 80% off or whatnot many months ago), and recently after I changed Xboxes (with the same hard drive) my single player data got corrupted. This translated into me not being
    able to play multiplayer either; both say disc is unreadable when I try to play them.

    I'm not asking about how in the world the data got corrupted. Supposedly the only way (that I know of) is from dashboarding/turning off the Xbox while data is being saved, and I don't remember doing that at all.

    I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to play the game again. I've deleted the corrupted data, uninstalled and reinstalled but to no avail. After the reinstallation the game went through the procedure of what it does the first time you play the game,
    so I thought I was getting somewhere there, but after the introductory video it gave me the unreadable disc message again. Any other tips? Or am I toast with this game?

    Very strange external HDD Problem

    Data corruption of some kind, pin pointing the source is the tricky part.

    Could be an issue with laptop or a fault in the HDD.

    Try running Memtest86+ for one pass on your laptop in case it's faulty RAM as that would corrupt data transfer but still give a somewhat usable computer.

    Are you formatting the drives for use with Xbox 360 for starters? And are you copying the files, or moving them?

    Corrupted Data

    Try deleting the game then clear your console's cache and restart it then redownload the game. See if that works.

    alright then thanks for the suggestion I will try it. Since my last post it has become apparent that it truly is my added hard drive. earlier I wasn't sure so we will see. again many thanks

    When i go to achievements, awards and save data it says only lips when i have other versions to called other things.

    You can rank up in the game to and all the ranking progress and that stuff is the same in all games.

    This is why im not sure if i should delete the save data?

    If you've tried all of the steps listed in this forum and you're still having issues, please try removing the HDD and using a different memory device to download the updates onto, such as a USB drive. For instructions on how to configure a USB drive for
    use with Xbox, please take a look at
