    Corrupted cloud save


    My save game for Control (2019) got corrupted somehow this morning. I've lost all my progress and the cloud save is likewise hosed. I've tried to re sync but it's just broken.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to restore to an earlier point? The game doesn't have any manual save mechanism, it's all full auto.

    My nba 2k20 file was corrupted

    If it is corrupted on the local machine you can try removing that save and syncing to the cloud. However if the cloud save is also corrupted there is nothing that can be done.

    The OP isn't trying to sync to the cloud as they have already done that. their question is whether the Cloud Save can become corrupted and so corrupts the console when the save syncs to it

    Did you save it in the Cloud Save and it became corrupt? Or are you playing your save from your xbox's hard drive and it became corrupt?

    Don't know any way to restore manually, but try contacting support. They may be able to do it.

    If the cloud save is corrupted, then there is no way to go back to an earlier save. Your only option is to start again.
