Corrupted apps?

Alright, so for starters, my problem is that there's times when I go to launch an app on my Xbox, and it refuses to load the app, not only giving me the error message "took too long to load", but also causing my xbox to become extremely slow, and not be
able to do just about anything else. This particular problem has happened quite a few times with a few different games and apps, and i can't figure out what the problem is.

Currently i'm having issues with the app called "VRV". If i were to start up my xbox, i can run any other game or app with no problem, but once run VRV, i get the error "took too long to load" and then suddenly, i can't play/do anything else because
those games/apps are now getting the same error, even if i were to try opening the settings app, it would say "took too long to load"

I have now hard reset my xbox 6 times in the span of an hour, trying to uninstall the VRV app, which refuses to delete itself from my xbox no matter how much time i give it to uninstall.

Am i going to have to factory reset again just to get this app off my xbox? because I've already factory reset maybe 3 times in the years I've had this console and i really don't want to have to keep doing that
