Corrupt text

Hi where it says enable 50htz the text is all corrupt and if you click on it the next page is the same only about five or six words all the rest is ok any ideas? Cheers

Corrupt texture data, Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Hi everyone

I was playing the game and in a short film near the 15% of the game it crashes and spam the text:

"Corrupt texture data passed into PCDX11Texture constructor"

Im on a xbox one s

What could i do?

 

My Xbox360 freezes everytime i turn it ON. But if i shut off and restart, it works.

that is a strange issue.

I advise to check if there are any corrupt or incomplete files in the storage section of the hard drive, if found please delete those. (Will have a yellow icon and a text that it is corrupt or incomplete)

Also try to following sequence

1. Delete your profile (profile only from the console)

2, clear the console cache

3. turn console off

4. turn console on

5. clear the cache one more time

6. Download your profile

 

Try to power cycle the xbox. Hold the xbox button on the console down for 5-8 seconds until the unit poweres down. Unplug the power cord and leave it off for 30 seconds. Then reconnect and start the xbox up again.

If that does not work, you could do a factory reset, but you would need to reinstall all apps and games as the xbox would revert to how it was when you first turned it on for the first time.

 

Just tried all that still no joy might just have to live with it as I said its only about five or six words

 

Sounds like the text info file which it reads from has gotten corrupt, luckily as you say, it is not a problem elsewere and is something you can live with. I don't see a fix other than reuploading the software file, but that is something MS would do themselves
during a repair. So you need to decide if it's worth getting fixed by sending the unit in or living with it basically.

You could call support and see if they have any other handy ideas, they'll guide you to the proper solution whatever it is.

 

I might contact ms just to see what can be done but wont bother sending it off just for that unless it gets any worse. Cheers for your help
