    Corrupt profile


    since a couple of weeks i’ve been having huge problems with gaming on my xbox one. Games freeze on startup, sound drops suddenly and when i push the thumbstick to the right on the homescreen, it turns black. Borderlands 2 freezes on boot, gears of war 4
    no sound, quitting a game also results in freezes, netflix no sound, etc... factory reset a couple of times, no fix...

    I contacted xbox support to fix it and they told me that the console had to be repaired... so, i sent it for reparation and two weeks later i got it back but i still have the same problems. Naturally, i tested a buddy’s profile on my xbox and he didn’t have
    any problems. When i logged in to his console, i had the same problem!

    I am desperate at this point... anyone who can help me out?

    Why can't people see my bio/location?

    You didn't call out of the matrix before being unplugged, now your profile is corrupt.

    Yes, on two televisions and a beamer... still freezing, but only with my profile.

    So, now we have tried everything...

    - Xbox got repaired

    - Tested the profile on multiple Xbox One consoles

    - Tested at multiple locations

    - Deleted the profile on all consoles

    - Factory reset all consoles and reinstalled everything

    - Deleted all devices in the microsoft account

    - Deleted auto-renewal of the Xbox Gold service

    - Deleted the payment options in the microsoft account

    - Reinstalled everything on all consoles...

    Again it freezes on Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Mass Effect Andromeda, freezes when pausing in a game or going to the homescreen, need i go on? I am absolutely desperate that I am about to lose EVERYTHING. Can nobody help me out here?

    It sounds like you received a gamerscore reset. This is usually do to cheating. Strange though, when I go to your profile it does not say score reset due to cheating. If a reset did occur, you will not be able to get any of the achievements that you had
    before the reset. You could post in this forum: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/41.aspx to see why you were reset.

    So have you tried downloading to both your USB stick and the 250 gb HDD? When did you first try downloading your Gamertag? You may want to give it a bit more time, and then try it again.

    Has your profile been banned for any reason?

    Or have you used your profile in a banned console?

    I've heard of people taking their profile to a friend house to play, unknown to them the console was banned and it corrupted all profiles.

    I'm not saying that's what's happened just an idea we can rule out
