Corrupt profile then no saved games

save game corruption happens when you turn off your xbox while playing the game. Corrupts your BF3 profile. Save your game to a usb and always quit the game correctly. You will have to delete your BF3 profile from your HDD to stop your save game corrupting.

Sounds to me like you chose the "delete profile & items" option when you were in the process of recovering your gamertag. If that is the case then unless you have your saves backed up on the cloud or a separate USB device then I'm afraid you've lost them.

In case you have to do it again make sure you choose the "delete profile only" option.

I think this worked.

I put my profile and a gamesave on my flash drive and moved it to a Phat and slim console and it didn't say it was corrupt on the other Xbox's.

Have you tried deleting first and then recovering your tag to your HDD?, the problem might not be with the method you are using to move it but with the profile itself.

I have seen no other posts about this problem being connected to the console bans from the other month. so I don't think its that common or something that is caused by the erroneous console bans (as yours was not banned).

If you listed what you have actually tried to do to resolve it already then it might help, and it will save people from repeating steps you may have tried already.

Moving the entire harddrive to another slim console (ex- a friend's), or using a flash drive.

I promise, it's not the method of transfer. I know what I'm doing.

I doubt you can help if you don't know what's happening, while they do know what's happening, because it's actually common.
