Corrupt profile, now corrupted console data

This is getting crazy. Initially i had issues with a corrupt profile and seems this has now filtered through my entire xbox console. How do i fix this? My profile is corrupt in the cloud and had to delete my profile on the console to donwload my cloud
profile. Starting up my xbox takes forever. Evrytime i sign into xbox live, a message appears telling me that my software is corrupt and i need to download the latest update. Everytime it tries to update and bombs out a few times with an error. Then my profile
must be downloaded, but first i must clear my cache. Profile download gives an error a few times and then finally i can play. Now when playing games form disk or downloadedmgames it often bombs out with a disk read error. At this moment i am soooo frustrated
as the only to fix it seems to dump it in the rubbish and buying playstation. What alternative do i have and what will be the impact on my current gaming?

You didn't call out of the matrix before being unplugged, now your profile is corrupt.

 

Apps not loading

contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

 

Delete you profile and format your HDD, be warned when you format a storage device, it erases all of the information saved on that device and can’t be recovered. Make sure that you don’t want the information stored on that device, or that you’ve backed up
the information to another device before you continue.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Select the storage device that you want to format, and then press Y on your controller.

Select Format. You will see the following message:

This will delete all content on this device. Do you wish to continue?

Select Yes to format the storage device.

If prompted to enter your console serial number, do so, and then select Done. This step helps guard against accidental formatting.

After formating your xbox download your profile again

 

Will i not just be backing up corrupt data? And then same with my profile, be restoring a corrupt profile?

 

The corrupt data cannot be backed up hence the formatting of the HDD is needed. As for your profile in the moment you clear your console from any corrupt file it's safe to download it back again

 

So i formatted the console, but now when i start up the xbox, it says that i have corrupt or missing data. It runs an update and a pop apears to restart. Same message appears and it restarts the update again. It seems to be a never ending cycle. It looks
like not all the system files are there. Used to be about 4 files and now only one?
