    Corrupt game?


    So far two of my games have had an update as big, or bigger than, the game itself but it won’t even attempt to install it. I’m hit with the “installation stopped” and “this is corrupted”. I have tried power cycling, uninstalling and reinstalling, and moving it to my internal. Nothing works and no one has an answer for how to fix it. I would appreciate some assistance. Thank you.

    I think I fixed it, i cleared local saved game files and everything seems to be all set.

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue with the corrupt data, you may need to
    delete the corrupt save data for both games in order to resolve the issue. You may also need to
    Uninstall and Reinstall both games to try and resync the data saved in the cloud storage.

    How do you know it is corrupting anything? Do you get an error message? What do you see happening?

    Is the game stored on an external hard drive? It's possible that it's a hardware failure, and not an issue with the software, so if you could provide some more information on what is happening, we'd be happy to help troubleshoot and try to identify the
    cause of whatever it is you see happening.
    When I try to get in the game I get this message "The item you are trying to use seems to be corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. (0x80070570)"

    The game is in the internal memory of my console, this is the third time I reinstall the game and always after about two days the game gives the same error, this error happens only with this game.
