    Corrupt Account


    I've had one of my account for a while, then I turn on my xbox one day to find that it is not listed under the sign in menu. I went to storage only to find it had been corrupted. The problem is that I don't remember the account info like the email and
    password. Because of the profile corrupting, I managed to lose hundreds of dollars worth if games and DLC. Help Me.

    Hi,

    This gamertag looks like it's randomly generated and the e-mail you're logging into get a gamertag like this makes me believe that this e-mail specifically never had a gamertag attached to it.

    If you know your gamertag but you don't know the e-mail associated with it and don't have access to the console that the gamertag is on (due to the tab being corrupted), you'd want to visit this page
    here.

    Once you're at the page linked above click Billing and Memberships, under
    Microsoft Account click Forgot Microsoft Account Username and then select Microsoft Chat Support, or Request a Call.

    About a month ago, my xbox live account went corrupt and I followed the procedure to get my account back to normal status and gave me this gamertag, is there anyway I can get this fixed?

    Sorry to hear it. Please give phone support a call. They will ask some account specific questions. If you can answer them they will provide the email address for you. From there you can change the password to re-download access the account.

    Hey there, Stea1thyShotz! I'm very sorry to see any issues with recovering your account! Onyx is correct in that you should reach out to support, however since your issue is with the Xbox One, I moved you over to the proper support forums.

    One thing would be to delete the profile and then re-download it...as far as why it is corrupted, there isn't any real way to determine that.

    There was no error it just said Cant connect to Xbox live and test connection.

    You should attempt to recover the gamertag

    go to guide menu

    download

    enter the information when created account.

    If you have any further problems don't be afraid to contact Customer Support.

    Hello smbkills12, sorry to here about your account the reason your account has corrupted was most likely that your xbox in the process of transfering data from the game to your account and corrupted since the power was disconnected you can fix this by

    1. going to storage settings and removing the account

    2. go to sign in and select recover account and follow the steps directed

    3.sign back in

    if the issue persists please contact the Xbox Support Team
